When you look in the mirror, do you notice fine lines and wrinkles? Many of us do, and wonder what we can do to turn back the clock! Dr. Ellen offers many non-invasive anti-aging treatments to help your skin look young and radiant. Here, we will discuss these treatments, and what to expect from them.
BBL Photo Facial
BBL, or broadband light photo facials can treat a variety of skin issues, including acne, unwanted hair, deep lesions, vascular lesions, age pots, freckles, irregular pigmentation, and rosacea. During this treatment, a handheld device is passed over the treatments being treated. There is a built in cooling system to ensure your comfort, and patients often describe the experience as feeling a rubber band snapping. The treatment may take anywhere from 10-30 minutes.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels remove dead, dull surface cells, and eliminate damaged and uneven skin. This treatment can remedy an array of issues, including fine lines and wrinkles, poor complexion, uneven skin texture, and visible scars. A chemical peel consists of a chemical solution being applied to the face, neck or chest. This solution will remove the top layer of skin, revealing healthy skin underneath. These peels are great options for people young and old alike, though those with darker skin tones may not be ideal due to the chance of changes in pigmentation.
Laser Peels
Laser peels can reduce blemishes and wrinkles, as well as create a more even skin tone and appearance. It can also correct hyperpigmentation and other skin coloration issues. This peel can be completed in an hour, and consists of a laser handpiece targeting the treatment area. The laser’s energy will warm the area, stimulating collagen development. This collagen will help to produce a more even skin tone and appearance.
Profractional Laser Resurfacing
Laser resurfacing removes skin layers to improve the appearance of skin. This treatment can correct wrinkles and fine lines, scars, acne scars, aging and sun-damaged skin, as well as tighten the skin. Profractional laser resurfacing is an outpatient procedure, and healing takes between 10-21 days.
